This year also marks 20 years since I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at just 19 years old, and the year I turn 40. Cancer has taught me many things, but above all, it taught me to never take a single birthday, milestone, or moment for granted.

My treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering showed me firsthand the power of lifesaving research and compassionate care. Years later, losing my father to Small Cell Lung Cancer and stepping into leadership of our family business at a young age further shaped my perspective and my purpose.

That journey is what continues to drive this mission today.

This campaign is about honoring those we’ve lost, standing with those who are currently fighting, and helping change the future for families who will one day hear the words, “you have cancer.”

With Benner’s Auto Body Shop leading the first team under me, we are committed to creating meaningful impact through lifesaving research, patient support, and continued advocacy.

February 26th will always hold a powerful place in my story, but the mission extends far beyond one date. Together, we can honor the past, create hope for today, and help build a future where more families get the chance to celebrate another birthday.
